The following film documents the sound work, ‘The Island', which I made for the Hidden exhibition at the RCA in November 2018.

I made a sound board using electric paint which I connected to fragments of Fiftteenth Century Venetian pottery and rocks from the RCA Fernery space. Light and sounds of the sea and the breaking of pottery are generated when the rocks and fragments are touched.  The sound work reflects on the origin of the original ceramic object and the narrative of its past destruction and current state. Read more about the fragments and how I found them here
